Help Save the National Dog Day Mascot
Recently, the mascot of National Dog Day, Tinkerbelle, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She is only 9 years old. Over the course of her little life, Tinkerbelle has brought love and kisses to thousands, from the everyday dog lover, to celebrities, sick and challenged children and the elderly. Now Tinkerbelle needs the love and support from of all those that she has worked so hard to make smile over these last 9 years.
While it is still unknown as to whether surgery can save her, she needs your help! Her care will cost tens of thousands of dollars…dollars that over the course of the last five years have been spent on saving thousands of other pet’s lives. Today, coupled with the economy, her family cannot solely afford all the care she needs.
Your donation to help save Tinkerbelle will be so greatly appreciated. To show our appreciation, the first 200 donations over $50, will receive an 18×24 limited edition Ron Burns lithograph depicting National Dog Day in New York with Tinkerbelle. Donations over $150 will receive an autographed copy of the “The Good Behavior Book for Dogs” ( Rockport-Quarry Books 2007) by National Dog Day founder and pet lifestyle expert, Colleen Paige. Each book will arrive with a personal message, thanking you for your support in Tinkerbelle’s time of need and an 8×10 photo of Tinkerbelle.
Businesses that donate $500 or more, will receive a linked company logo on this page indefinitely and for a donation of $1,000 or more, will receive the above, plus a 1 year 5×7 ad at NationalDogDay.com as well as at PetHomeMagazine.com
Any funds left over from Tinkerbelle’s care will go to start the “Tinkerbelle Fund” to help other dogs with brain cancers.
